‘Water- induced Disasters Risk Management Planning in Nepal’ project is funded by International Development Research Center (IDRC), Canada for the period from December 2018 to February 2022. The overall objective of the project is to enhance the resilience of local communities with special focus on those left behind, such as children, women, elderly, people with disability and marginalized communities in order to improve their ability to cope with climate related disasters.
Water Source Protection and Conservation Plan for Solar MUS System
This hydro-geological study and water source protection and conservation plan preparation project for Solar MUS systems of Surkhet District is funded and supported by Renewable Energy (RW), This project has been designed to tackle water scarcity for drinking, irrigation and other productive end-uses. This project aims to conduct a detailed hydrogeological study of community water sources and their surrounding micro-catchment area, and develop water source conservation and conservation plan specific to each MUS system.
